If you missed our Pre-Primer Easy Readers series, be sure to check it out here. I am super excited with how these worksheets turned out and I know they will be useful in our home, as well as yours.
I am not one who likes to drill things in to my kids’ heads, I want them to learn naturally and to love learning. However, there are a few things we need to take more time with and be more purposeful in teaching. Sight Words, Phonics and Reading is one subject we spend as much time on as we need. We do not rush it and we do not force it. But, we are purposeful.
These worksheets coordinate with the Early Readers in the series and are a great way to either introduce the words or use them as review when they’ve completed the sight word list. However, since sight words are something that take time and repetition to learn, I highly recommend printing and laminating these sheets to use over and over.
