This Blog

Several years ago I started this blog to keep in touch with family. But, as time went on that effort went by the way-side. I found it tedious and a daunting task to sit at the computer and write about our day. And I honestly wondered…”Who cares?” So, I put it aside for a while and tried again last year. However, that effort went out the window as well.

It wasn’t until our 4th child was on the way that I started following more and more blogs. I found myself compelled to write again and this time I really wanted to stay with it. I love writing and sharing what I’ve learned, whether it be in mothering, being a wife or spiritually.

So at the end of last year I prayed over what the Lord would have me to do and how that looked on my blog. After much prayer and talking with The Hubster, I decided to set daily topics that I could write under. With as many topics as I find interesting and like to discuss, I thought this would be a great way for people to find what they’re looking for more easily. This may change over time, but for now I like knowing when and what I’m writing about.

As for the content of this blog, it will be first and foremost committed to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I would be lost and in utter despair without Him. So, everything I do, I do for His Glory. Second, it will be submitted through my husband, whom God has appointed over me. And third, it will be truthful. If you ever find any of these are not being met, please feel free to contact me via email and share your concerns.  I promise to seek God’s truth through prayer and devotion so as not to ever lead anyone astray.
