My Family
Well, I wanted to introduce you to my family and their nicknames. I won’t use their real names on here for safety reasons…mostly, but also because I like nicknames and I think they’re fun! I never had one growing up, so maybe that’s why I’m a little obsessed with them. I don’t know, but we’ll go with it! I’ll also give you a little background as to why I chose those particular names. This page probably isn’t really necessary, but it might make reading my posts a little more personal and FUN!!
*The Hubster ~ honestly, I struggled with this one. Hubby sounded silly and is too over-used for my taste. I thought about calling him Mr. Sexy, but thought that might bring about the wrong readers! Not to mention embarrass him! So, The Hubster it is!
*Mister Bull ~ my sweet oldest child, currently age 6. He’s just like a bull in a china closet – literally! The kid falls down the steps into our living room (which have been there since we moved here almost 4 years ago) nearly every day! He’s oh-so-sweet (most days) and even sensitive, but the poor kid is seriously lacking in coordination!
*Mister Mouse ~ child #2 and our second son, currently age 3. He was by far my smallest child at birth (to date), but that’s only part of the reason. He is above average for his height and weight now, but still looks so small in comparison to the others (who grow at astronimical rates around here). But, the real clincher was his small, mousy voice he uses when he wants something. Particularly…food!
*Miss Priss ~ this is my oldest daughter, currently age 2. She prances around here like her brothers ought to dote on her, which they do most of the time. We do only wear dresses/skirts, but she loves to twirl in them. She’s been doing this since she was about 18 months old! She is a bit of a diva (we’re working on that!) and loves playing with her dolls and giving hugs and kisses, which are the best!
*Miss Smiley ~ this is our youngest daughter, currently 8 months old. Her personality is really starting to come out and shine, so this name may still change. I’m not completely sold on it just yet. But, as of this writing, she is by far the happiest, most laid-back baby we’ve had. She loves to watch her older siblings play and she’s even starting to giggle at them! She is an absolute JOYful addition to our family!
*The Littles ~ okay this term will most likely represent the children under Kindergarten age. Right now I have three of them (ages 3, 2 and 8 months).
*The Middles ~ this refers to my middle two children at the moment. (aka Mister Mouse and Miss Priss)
